Welcome to the Talent Showcase Africa Playlist Podcast Episode 82, which will also air on the radio on Friday 6th October 2023, at 2100 CAT via ENERGY100 fm (Or tune in via DStv audio bouquet on channel 868), Nam Radio Local at 1800 CAT and repeated daily, and in the USA & Nigeria on Sunday via High-Grade Radio at 1200, Dallas, USA time (see WorldTimeZone).
What to Expect On the Show
In this episode, we feature His Name EP from South Sudanese hip-hop artist 15ve Snassybi. The artist will be presenting his brand new EP on the show, and I have to say, you can look forward to an interesting 8 tracks that will take us right up to the half-hour break. In the second half, expect a vibrant Afrobeat set with a brand new entry on the Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts at the end of the show.

On this week’s Talent Showcase Africa Radio Chart, Fame by Nigerian hip-hop artist BigMoney drops a place to number 3 on the Chart, whilst after debuting with his sexy afro pop vibe Sugar on the TSA Playlist last week Gabbie from Malawi enters the Chart at number 2 this week. It’s one of those rare moments when a track enters the Chart after only one run on the TSA Playlist. Holding on to the number 1 position on the Chart for a second consecutive week is Ngoni from Zambia with the infectiously catchy jam Blunts & Sunsets (ft. Dee Dexta) enjoying its 5th week overall on the Chart. Enjoy!
