Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts Weekly Blog Post - January 20th, 2023

On the Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts this week, Namibians have stormed the Top 3 Singles Chart for the very first time. These are certainly exciting times for Namibian artists on the platform and for Namibian music as a whole.

Namibia’s Ab.dul, who first surfaced on the TSA playlist in December enters the chart at Number 3 this week with Pause N Play. Zambian twins Drax Africa & General Degree from Jamaica, who’ve been at the number 1 spot with the club-banger Fine One for two weeks, drop a place to number 2 this week; and straight in at number 1 is a familiar Namibian face on the TSA Playlist in recent weeks, his name is Craig Jared and his song is titled Enjoy.

Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts Weekly Blog Post - January 13th, 2023

On the Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts this week, the same Zambian artists who overran the TSA Radio Charts last week are still in the charts this week. So let’s take a look at how the chart is shaping up.

Former number 1 single Been Through A lot by Slick One & Shicorrigan (Ft. K.R.Y.T.I.C. & Eli D) slips another spot this week to number 3, clocking a whopping 5 weeks on the chart. Bias Brown West moves up a spot to number 2 with Tekunyeko (ft. Elijah Rosario), and Zambian twins Drax Africa & General Degree from Jamaica hold on to the number 1 position for a second week with Fine One. Enjoy!

Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts Weekly Blog Post - January 6th, 2023

On the Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts this week, the Zambians have practically taken over the show. Yes, it’s an all-Zambian lineup today.

After some major rotation on the Talent Showcase Africa Playlist, Bias Brown West finally debuts on the chart at number 3 with what I’d like to describe as an R&B Bump N’ Grind jam titled Tekunyeko (ft. Elijah Rosario); whilst last week’s number 1 single, Been Through A lot by Slick One & Shicorrigan (Ft. K.R.Y.T.I.C. & Eli D) slips a spot to number 2 after being at number 1 for 2 weeks.

And straight in at number 1 are the identical Zambian twins Drax Africa & General Degree from Jamaica with a totally infectious tune titled Fine One. This banger has been on heavy rotation on the Talent Showcase Africa Playlist, I for one can’t seem to get enough of it. But I can tell you this. This track is a major disruptor and It’s certainly going places. Enjoy!
