Brand new entry on the Chart this week is Nigerian afropop artist Tryphena whose song K.O.U.B. aired on the TSA Playlist last week to rave reviews. Afrobeat duo Hopiho & Tonnio from Cameroon & DRC respectively have been stuck at number 3 on the Chart for THREE weeks, today, Ayouwé moves up a place to number 2 on the Chart, with their brand new single L'AMOUR which debuted on the TSA Playlist last week vaulting straight in to occupy the number 1 spot on the Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts and becoming the second act to hold two positions at the same time on the Top 3 Singles Chart, after South Africa's Teddy M in collaboration with Posh Spice on the MASSIVE Amapiano bangers Piiki Piki (ft. Leendor South), and Sthandwa Sam (ft. Posh Spice) on August 11th, 2023. Enjoy!
