Talent Showcase Africa Playlist & Radio Charts: The Hits Edition, 18th August 2023

On today’s Talent Showcase Africa Playlist that airs Friday 18th August at 2100 CAT via ENERGY100 fm (Or tune in via DStv audio bouquet on channel 868), Nam Radio Local at 1800 CAT and repeated daily, and in the USA & Nigeria on Sunday via High-Grade Radio at 1200, Dallas, USA time (see WorldTimeZone), we bring you another helping of The Hits Edition showcasing the platform’s biggest tunes, comprising previous Top 3 Singles Chart hits and a couple of brilliant new singles debuting on the show for the first time today.

Represented on the TSA Playlist today are Boyy Prince (Ghana), Drax Africa & General Degree (Zambia/Jamaica), Richy Jentle (Nigeria), Blaize Dreko (Nigeria), Qwesi Ishe (Ghana), Senzo C & Motive Deep (South Africa), and Spazzy Special (Nigeria) all of whom have had SMASH hit singles on the Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts. 

Tracks debuting on the Playlist today are from Laconi & Dof [Guadeloupe], AVA (South Africa), Karen Petersen [South Africa], and Teh Bah (Nigeria).

On this week’s Chart, we have a brand new entry at number 3, by Ayanfe from Nigeria with Laba Laba. Ayanfe was last on the Chart in April-May with the single Temptation which spent 4 weeks on the chart and peaked at number 2. Last week’s number 2 single Sthandwa Sam (ft. Posh Spice) by South African Amapiano artists Teddy M & TT stays put at number 2 on the chart for a second week. And still at number 1 on the Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts for the FOURTH consecutive week, is JèJè (ft. The Wave) by Nigerian Afro R&B artist Amah Mabiaku. Enjoy!
