Today is the Talent Showcase Africa Playlist's 1-year anniversary on ENERGY100 fm, and on today’s Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts Ugandan artist, Rheezlar, 2 weeks on the Chart holds on to the number 3 position on the Chart. Sarah-Jane Thomas from South Africa maintains her position on the Chart at number 2 with a now familiar tune Wholeheartedly. And at number one, DJ Proffer from Namibia is still number one for a second week with Gxd Flex.

TSA Playlist Celebrates 1st Anniversary On ENERGY100 fm, Friday

Friday night the Talent Showcase Africa Playlist celebrates its first anniversary since launching on ENERGY100 fm on March 4th, 2022. It has been a rollercoaster ride with tons of great records from emerging African artists showcased on the platform. 

And so this Friday night we have a brand new track on the Playlist from former chart-topper Ab.dul from Namibia with Contemplate. Also on the playlist are recent releases from Yusuph from Nigeria with Bodyguard, DaFaith from Angola with Bumper 2 Bumper, Musa Kiama from Kenya with Lanez, and many more. It’s a great afrobeat vibe tonight.

Smashing into the Chart at number 2 is Namibian artist DJ Proffer, who also stepped into the Radio ENERGY studios for a chat with Founa K on The Late Night Cruise just before the TSA Playlist aired at 2100 CAT. South African girl band 4IAM move up a place with Dashingu to become this week’s number 1 single on the Talent Showcase Africa Radio Charts.
